Superbowl predictions?

I never predict sporting events.  The main reason is that I usually cheer for the underdog.  Whoever doesn’t have a chance, that would be the ideal winner.  Today’s game presents a dilemma. I think many people would say that the Bears are underdogs.  They have had a surprising season.  But Peyton Manning has had a phenomenal career without ever getting to the Superbowl before.  So in a way, the Colts are underdogs too.

To be analytical about it, I think I would agree that the Bears are going to win.  But I also agree with others that the Colts have a very good chance because of the karma Manning brings to the game.

Rex said it himself, he’s had 11 great games, 5 bad games.
If Rex shows up, it’ll be close. The Bears won too many games this season, purely on turnovers – the Arizona game, they had 0 offensive touchdowns and won the game from 6 turnovers.

I personally want Manning to get this – it’s ironic I’m watching Dan Marino in the pre-game show saying he wants Manning to win, I guess he wants to maintain the title ‘Best QB to never win a superbowl’.

Whatever happens, I’m sure it’ll be a good game!
